A 1,024 x 768 progressive-scan color camera, the IK-TF7 is intended for online color inspection, product testing, identification and measurement applications. Compact and lightweight, the camera measures 44 mm wide x 44 mm high x 78 mm deep and weighs 5.82 oz. Image jitter is virtually eliminated by three 1/3” progressive-scan CCDs. The co-site sampling arrangement of the CCDs eliminates RGB shift, making image capture more accurate with higher resolution. Color reproduction is enhanced through a color-shading correction feature. Capture of fast-moving color items is achieved through a variable speed, electronic 9-step shutter ranging from 1/100 to 1/100,000 of a second along with an advanced trigger function. In partial-scan mode, readout is 90 frames/s; full-pixel, independent readout is 30 frames/s. An RS-232 serial communications port (9,600 or 19,200 baud) enables remote control from a PC.
