Pre-ported to Windows Mobile 5.0, the CompactSIP software development kit (SDK) allows chipmakers, Pocket PC, and phone manufacturers to quickly add VoIP capabilities to wireless devices, plus mobile and wired phones. The kit includes a ready-to-run stack of source code running as a Pocket PC ARM emulator that ports directly to 32-bit ARM processors. Tested for three years to ensure compliance and interoperability with industry standards and real-world operation, applications include WiFi phones, media chips, gateways, set-top boxes, analog telephone adapters, and IP phones. Available as small as 63 KB, CompactSIP is reportedly the industry's leanest SIP stack. In addition to Windows Mobile 5.0, it also supports Nucleus, Linux, VxWorks, MQX, Micrium, uCLinux, and Windows CE operating systems. TELESOFT INTERNATIONAL INC., Austin TX. (512) 373-4224.
