Targeting networking customers who need more capacity and higher performance, the DeskPOD hardware modeling system has been upgraded to improve embedded system and ASIC design verification. New features include direct detection to automatically infer if a bi-directional signal pin is acting as an input or output. To cope with lower and multiple voltages, the system now supports up to four independent voltages, up to 1200 signal pins, and programmable voltage levels ranging from 1.25 to 5V. Other improvements include the addition of a 100 BaseT interface and support for JTAG debuggers.
