Designed for use in industrial Ethernet networks, the OVP modules protect Ethernet data ports against over-voltage and current surges. The modules employ quick-response diodes that act within a nanosecond of a surge detection. They redirect surges to ground via a dedicated connection and limit interference voltage to a level below 45V. Deployable both inside and outside control-panel cabinets that do not require an IP67 protection rating, the modules are available in versions for both DIN-rail and wall mounting.
