The PCIe-COM family of PCI Express communication cards provide both DB-9 and R-J45 connectivity and two, four, or eight ports of software selectable RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 serial protocols. They include a x1 lane PCI Express connector that is usable in any available x1, x2, x4, x8, x12, or x16 PCI Express slot.
