The Model PF1550-30 pulsed fiber laser (PFL) module generates eye-safe short pulses over a wide repetition rate range in applications such as laser range finding, range imaging LIDAR, fiber optic sensing, communications, micro-machining, and as a seed source for high-power amplifiers. Employing erbium-doped fiber technology, the module delivers 1.54 µm output via a single-mode fiber. It generates 1-ns pulses nominal at repetition rates between 100 kHz and 1 MHz and 1W of average power and 1.2 kW of peak power at 1 MHz. Other features include a compact footprint measuring 10" x 10" x 4" and a total weight of 15 lbs. For further information and price, call ACULIGHT CORP. Bothell, WA (425) 482-1100.
