Sporting enhancements to support enterprise-wide deployments, the STRIDE 2.0 embedded software verification platform provides infrastructure and tools that accelerate integration, testing, and verification of embedded software. It is said to be the first to support agile development processes and best practices. In essence, users do not have to wait until final integration and testing to identify software issues. Employing a unique virtual-platform approach, users can exercise code without writing test code, remove software dependencies, simulate new or missing functionality, capture internal software transactions or events, leverage scripting for automation, and apply other tools to the verification process. Other testing capabilities include remote interfacing for accessing both function-call API and messaging interfaces, on-target interface tracing with profiling and record-and-playback, and dynamic interface interception to simulate or replace software interfaces. License pricing starts at $8,300. S2 TECHNOLOGIES, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA. (760) 635-2345.
