With the software release 3.42, the BP-1400 engineering device programmer now supports 12,426 devices from 96 semiconductor manufacturers. The current software release adds 250 new devices and 10 socket modules. The BP-1400 is a universal device programmer supporting all device technologies. It comes with 240 pin drivers as standard. Its advanced pin drivers incorporate sophisticated high-speed circuitry to deliver unparalleled programming and testing performance for all device technologies up to 240 pins. It also uses high-speed bipolar analog pin drivers with microstrip transmission lines to deliver 800-ps rise times at the programming socket without overshoot or ground bounce. This enables functional testing of today’s fastest PLDs, including the latest 3-ns devices.
