Real-Time Operating System Pushes Auto Standards

Discuss embedded automotive standards, and OSEK/VDX pops up. So, it's no surprise Accelerated Technology's new royalty-free Nucleus OSEK Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) meets the latest OSEK 2.2 standard (www.osek-vdx.org).

The Nucleus OSEK RTOS now supports the Motorola MPC555 and MPC565 microcontrollers. Nucleus OSEK incorporates Nucleus COM (communication), Nucleus NM (network management), and Nucleus CAN services. Nucleus CAN offers CAN 2.0 support. Complete OSEK coverage makes application development in an automotive environment significantly easier.

ATI's Nucleus embedded software is licensed with source code. Licenses for Nucleus OSEK start at $19,995.
