Announced as the company's seventh reference design kit, the Wireless USB Device Embedded Card reference design allows users to build complete wireless USB systems, reportedly with minimal cost and risk. When teamed with the company's wireless USB adapter, wireless USB Mini Card, or Half Mini Card on the host side, the reference design's hardware and associated software provide a complete, end-to-end certified wireless USB solution. The kit includes hardware, software, schematics, layout source files, detailed bill-of-materials, design manual, manufacturing test solution, plus user and quick-start guides. The software package includes complete Device Wire Adapter driver/firmware and a Windows-based utility that supports device discovery, field upgrade functionality, and comprehensive diagnostics.
