LynuxWorks LynxOS-178 2.0 is working toward Reusable Software Component (RSC) certification. RSC certification will find use in DO-178B projects without having to certify the RTOS, significantly streamlining software testing procedures. The 2.0 version also incorporates the ARINC-653 APplication/EXecutive (APEX) interface. The POSIX-compliant RTOS is binary-compatible with Lynuxworks BlueCat Linux, essentially making LynxOS-178 a certifiable Linux-based platform.
