The conga-QA3 Qseven embedded computer module, based on Intel’s E3845 AtomT processor, is fitted with ceramic capacitors, suiting them for industrial mobile applications in harsh environments. The module, developed by congatec, includes a significant amount of L2 cache that can be shared can be shared by multiple cores. Support for Intel Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions allows offloading of particularly compute-intensive packaging and encryption routines of cryptographic algorithm Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) into hardware. The conga-QA3 comes in five different Intel Atom processor-based versions, ranging from the entry-level, 5-W, 1.46-GHz, single-core E3815 to the 10-W, 1.91-GHz quad-core E3845. Each module comes with 2 Gbytes of DDR3L memory and up to 16 Gbytes of eMMC 4.5 for mass storage. Up to 8 Gbytes of RAM are available, depending on the processor used. Integrated graphics support DirectX 11, OpenGL 3, OpenCL 1.2, and high-performance, flexible hardware decoding. The processor natively supports up to 2500 by 1600 pixels with DisplayPort and 1920 by 1200 pixels with HDMI.
