Addressing industrial networking tasks, the FL-COM SERVER device server adapts RS-232 serial devices to 10/100 Base-T Ethernet networks. Rugged in design, the server features a wide-range dc power supply, DIN-rail mounting, three-way isolation, surge protection, and redundant power supply capabilities. Popular industrial protocols such as MODBUS RTU and MODBUS TCP, and TCP/IP are supported at no additional cost. Once installed, configuration can be performed via the Internet using any one of the popular web browsers. The server comes with communication port re-director software that allows Ethernet access to serial devices on the network as if they were connected to the local COM ports on aPC.
