Server Module Connects Serial Devices To Networks

Said to be an easy and economical way for users to network enable their products, the iServer module connects any device with serial ports (RS-232, 422, 485, or TTL) to an Ethernet network and the Internet. Measuring half the size of a business card, the server operates from a 5 Vdc supply and is compatible with DHCP and DNS servers. Additionally, it supports TCP, UDP, ARP, Telnet, HTTP, and MODBUS protocols. Other features include Windows-based redirection software to direct data destined for a COM port to an Ethernet port and a utility to access and configure the module. NEWPORT, Santa Ana, CA.
