Said to be an easy and economical way for users to network enable their products, the iServer module connects any device with serial ports (RS-232, 422, 485, or TTL) to an Ethernet network and the Internet. Measuring half the size of a business card, the server operates from a 5 Vdc supply and is compatible with DHCP and DNS servers. Additionally, it supports TCP, UDP, ARP, Telnet, HTTP, and MODBUS protocols. Other features include Windows-based redirection software to direct data destined for a COM port to an Ethernet port and a utility to access and configure the module. NEWPORT, Santa Ana, CA.
