Embedded Systems Conference, San Jose, CA. - In collaboration, SiliconSystems and Samtec offer a turnkey solution for embedded storage applications by combining the SiliconDrive II USB Blade with the SiliconBlade Socket. The combo promises easy deployment of advanced storage technology into space-constrained designs. Sporting an ultra-small form factor, the SiliconDrive II USB Blade and SiliconBlade Socket provide an alternative to SD and MMC cards in netcom, embedded, industrial, military, and medical applications. The SiliconDrive II USB Blade is available from SiliconSystems in capacities of 512 MB, 1 GB, and 2 GB and the SiliconBlade Socket is available from Samtec.
