The latest generation of the Series 59 microprocessor-based temperature controller adds options that make it customizable for an array of OEM applications. Added features include more power-input choices, additional sensor options, four different relay outputs, alarm and time functions, and a wider operating temperature range. Differential and set-point offset values are fully adjustable, accommodating application-specific programming, and settings can be tamper proof, factory pre-set, or field adjustable. Other enhancements include the ability to interface with 24 Vac/dc or 120, 208, 240 Vac supplies, support for thermocouples or solid-state relays, and output configurations that include 5A SPDT, 30A SPST, and 15A SPDT plus an SSR driver.
