USB DAQ Module Cruises At 10 MHz

July 8, 2011
The DT9862 simultaneous USB data acquisition (DAQ) module features throughput rates up to 10 MHz.

The DT9862 simultaneous USB data acquisition (DAQ) module features throughput rates up to 10 MHz. When two A/D channels sample simultaneously, both channels acquire data at 10 MHz using burst sampling or at 5 MHz continuously.  The only limit on throughput is the USB 2.0 bus speed, which is optimized for the DT9862 to over 25 MB/s. Each analog input channel has its own separate ADC to eliminate phase shift between each channel. As a result, the DT9862 correlates measurements instantly. Included software and drivers are compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7. Price starts at $2,395. DATA TRANSLATION INC., Marlboro, MA. (800) 525-8528.
