Acces IO Products has released a set of USB data access modules with 16 to 48 isolated IO connections. Inputs support interrupts and ac or voltage transient filtering. Outputs can handle voltages to 60 V and current to 2 A. PCI-IDI-48AC (48 isolated inputs with change detection) and Model PCI-IDO-48 (48 isolated outputs) are priced at $299. C source code and drivers are available for DOS, Linux (including Mac OS X) and Windows are included.
