Offered as an enhancement to the RAD-ISM-900-BD-BUS point-to-point, two-way wireless device for analog and digital signals, the RAD-ISM-900-XD-BUS bi-directional multipoint-to-point wireless I/O system allows users to bring multiple channels of I/O

Offered as an enhancement to the RAD-ISM-900-BD-BUS point-to-point, two-way wireless device for analog and digital signals, the RAD-ISM-900-XD-BUS bi-directional multipoint-to-point wireless I/O system allows users to bring multiple channels of I/O from up to eight remote locations back to one master station. The bi-directional feature allows the devices to monitor and control applications while eliminating cables and conduits. The system uses spread spectrum frequency hopping techniques to guarantee a license- and interference-free link between remote devices and the control room. Typical indoor range is 600' to 1,000' with no line of sight and much farther with outdoor applications. The transceivers are powered separately with a 12 to 30 Vdc source. Both the transceivers and I/O modules are packaged in 22.5-mm, DIN-rail mount housings with integrated bus connections. PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
