Operating in temperatures from -55°C to +125°C, the 140 CRH surface-mount aluminum capacitor is both lead free and solderable under lead-free soldering conditions. A polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a non-solid, self-healing electrolyte, it is intended to stabilize output voltages, filter unwanted noise, smooth dc voltage, buffer electrical energy, and decouple superimposed ac ripple current. The RoHS-compliant capacitor is charge and discharge proof and is available with capacitance values from 10 µF to 680 µF over a voltage range of 6.3V to 63V. Sizes range from 8 mm x 8 mm x 10 mm to 10 mm x 10 mm x 14 mm. VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY INC., Malvern, PA. (619) 336-0860.
