The noise reduction and shock absorption properties of cabinets and enclosures are both said to be significantly improved by affixing to them Bumpon SJ-6500 Series of bumpers. And to achieve faster, permanent attachment to the housing, these soft, clear polyurethane bumpers employ a high-tack, quick-stick synthetic rubber adhesive that is effective in bonding the bumpers to a wide variety of surfaces, including low surface energy substrates. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is protected with a release liner. Bumpon bumpers reportedly do not dry out or crack like bumpers made of rubber and resist both aging and yellowing. And because they are transparent, the new bumpers can be easily colored to match that of the cabinet.
