Energy-friendly microcontroller (MCU) company Energy Micro has set Omniscient Electronics as an approved distributor of its wares in India. The agreement enables Omniscient to provide local support for Energy Micro’s complete family of EFM32 Gecko low-power MCUs, based on the ARM Cortex-M3 processor core. Well versed in semiconductor distribution, Omniscient integrates technical sales, design services, and supply-chain solutions for semiconductor manufacturers, OEMs, and EMS service providers on a local, regional basis. The company is headquartered in Bangalore with branches in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Secunderabad.
