External Supplies Embrace Current Energy Standards

Dec. 14, 2010
The single-output AFM series 48W/60W external ac/dc power supplies meet the latest energy standards including Energy Star Level V, EISA2007, and CEC2008 in the US and the ErP Directive for Europe.

The single-output AFM series 48W/60W external ac/dc power supplies meet the latest energy standards including Energy Star Level V, EISA2007, and CEC2008 in the US and the ErP Directive for Europe. Designed for a range of IT and medical equipment, the supplies offer output voltages of 12, 15, 18, and 24 Vdc with a typical efficiency up to 88%. The AFM45 has a no load power consumption of less than 0.3W, and the AFM60 less than 0.5 W. The units offer multiple input cable interface options allowing designers to specify either IEC320-C14, -C6 or -C8 connectors. The -C8 option provides a Class II grounding method. An optional cable restraining clip is also available. Prices for the AFM45 and AFM60 are $24.18 and $30.42 each/500, respectively.
