A range of high-voltage, modular power supplies provides output voltages of 30 kV, 40 kV, and 50 kV at 200W. Operation is from 24 Vdc at 50 kHz, using a switch-mode FET oscillator with energy recovery circuits. Features include a line and load

A range of high-voltage, modular power supplies provides output voltages of 30 kV, 40 kV, and 50 kV at 200W. Operation is from 24 Vdc at 50 kHz, using a switch-mode FET oscillator with energy recovery circuits. Features include a line and load regulation of better than 0.1%, temperature coefficient of better than 300 ppm/°C, and an output ripple of better than 1%p-p. Control of the output is via an internal potentiometer, external potentiometer, or by an external 10V analog control voltage. Future devices will output up to 100 kV and higher.
