Designed to fit pre-existing traffic-signal enclosures, the Type 2 TrafficLED arrow lamps consume just 10W to 12W, resulting in energy-cost savings of 80% to 90% compared to incandescent lamps. The Type 2 lamps come with 25-mm Edison bases and a Type 1 lamp is available that requires hard wiring to fit existing enclosures. Both types use InGaA1P and InGaN LED chips and offer an average working life of 100,000 hours. Prices range from $76.60 to $185.85 each/250, depending on LED technology.
