The PowerStor P series 5-V aerogel supercapacitors combine the best features of high-energy rechargeable batteries and high-power electrolytic capacitors. The low-ESR devices feature values ranging from 0.1 to 1.0 F. Two types are available: the low-ESR, high-power PA series with ESR values ranging from 0.15 to 0.2 Ω, and the high-energy-density PB series with ESR values ranging from 0.5 to 6.0 Ω. Both versions are available with vertical or horizontal leads. The P series supercapacitors have a minimal voltage drop during the current phase. Also, they provide maximum memory backup duration during the lower-current sleep mode. In 25,000-unit quantities, pricing for the P series supercapacitors starts at $1.05.
