Network Transducer Eyes Substation Apps

May 1, 2001

The PowerServe Network Transducer packs enhanced functionality, including energy measurement certification, status monitoring and control outputs via a digital I/O module, simultaneous support of multiple protocols, and the ability to store multiple event oscillography files. The system utilizes a modular chassis that is based on the CompactPCI bus and that supports various communication outputs and other options, such as a digital I/O module that provides status monitoring and control outputs. Nonvolatile flash memory is used for storing periodic data logging and oscillography files.
