Multilayer NTC Chip Thermistors Come In 0402 And 0603 Sizes
The TBP high-reliability NTC chip thermistors are 63-mW devices with values from 47 Ω to 150 kΩ. These devices are available in both 0402 and 0603 sizes.

With a B constant of 2950 to 4750 at 25°C to 85°C, the thermistors are highly sensitive. Based on multilayer construction, the devices have a broad operating-temperature range of −55°C to 125°C. A thermal-time constant of less than 5 s and a heat-dissipation constant of 1 to 2.5 mW/°C are also provided. Negligible resistance change is demonstrated in 1000-hour reliability tests. According to the company, these thermistors are suited for use in telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, and battery-protection applications.

Toroidal Inductors Can Be Mounted Horizontally Or Vertically
Members of the 2100/2200/2300 series of high-current toroidal inductors possess a self-shielding toroid core that reduces radiation emission. Equipped with cost-effective, low-loss powdered cores, the devices are available in both horizontal and vertical mounting configurations.

According to the company, these inductors are suited for high-current, high-frequency, and high-density designs in differential mode choke, EMI filter, and energy-storage applications. They may also function in such applications as dc output chokes, fly-back inductors, and light dimmers. Basic performance specifications include an inductance range of 10 to 1000 µH and an operating-temperature range of −55°C to 105°C. In 500-unit quantities, the devices cost between $1.02 and $1.67 each.

100-W Coupler Offers A Frequency Range Of 800 To 2500 MHz
The 100-AC-FFN-20 is suited for cellular and PCS applications. As a 100-W coupler, this device offers a frequency range of 800 to 2500 MHz. Coupling at 20 dB, it also provides a directivity minimum of 20 dB.

This coupler provides an insertion loss of 0.25 dB as well as 0.3-dB thruline. Maximum VSWR is rated at 1:15:1. While reflected power depends on the external load used, the frequency sensitivity is ±1.0 dB maximum. With a weight of 8 oz., the device operates for temperatures up to 105°C.

In one- to 10-unit quantities, the coupler costs $175 each.
