A LED-based lighting alternative for incandescent spot and flood lamps, the INFINITE 1 LED lamp is said to achieve energy savings of more than 80%. Its design includes an Edison-based housing assembly directly interchangeable with industry-standard PAR-style spots and floods. Light output is distributed evenly by arranging 39 LEDs in a grid-array pattern. The INFINITE 1 has a multi-optic lens, and both flood and spot output can be achieved by rotating the lens 90°. Energy consumption is low, with operation of less than 3.0W at 110 Vac. Light output is rated from 39 cd white to more than 100 cd RYGB. The 94 V-O rated housing and a snap-on shroud are effective for operating in higher temperatures. This lamp comes in assorted colors, including amber, red, yellow, green, blue and white, and RGB. Applications include industrial, medical, security, photographic processing, retail, and architectural lighting. Pricing starts at $50 each. BIVAR INC., Irvine, CA. (800) 772-2377.
