The PMT10 Series tripolar gas discharge tube surge arrester is designed to provide high voltage protection. The gas tube surge arrester provides a low impedance path to ground for transient voltages caused by lightning strikes or other high-energy transients. The non-radioactive PMT10 Series meets the performance recommendations described in CCITT-K12 and Bellcore GR-1361-CORE. The three electrode configuration is used in applications where simultaneous crowbar action of two signal lines is required, including central office protection, telecommun network interfaces, cable modems and line test equipment. Samples are available. REMTECH, Rolling Meadows, IL. (877) 473-6832.
