Touted as the industryÕs largest flash-based, live-at-power-up FPGA devices qualified for industrial applications, the ProASIC A500K180 and A500K270 provide 370,000 and 475,000 system gates, respectively. The A500K270 offers up to 27,000 registers and 63 Kb of RAM in 28 blocks of 256 x 9 bits and the A500K180 offers more than 18,000 registers with 54 Kb of RAM in 24 blocks. Both devices operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -40ûC to 85ûC, making them suitable for remote deployment in rugged applications.
