Design to speed cable repairs while reducing costs, the FIT MGKIT1 compact cable repair kit includes the company's FIT Minigun heat gun and a variety pack of FIT-221 general-purpose irradiated polyolefin heat-shrinkable tubing. The heat gun is capable of delivering controllable heat at temperatures up to 1,000°F.
The shrink tubing comes in 6" cut pieces and in a variety of sizes and colors. And the kit is said to contain all that is necessary to handle cable repair assignments, from strain relief, splicing and connecting to ID and environmental protection.
