The CG-BGA-4010 socket houses 194-pin, 0.8-mm pitch BGA devices and operates at bandwidths up to 6.5 GHz with less than 1 dB of insertion loss. The socket features an easy-open clamshell lid with integrated heat sinking mechanism. Contact resistance is typically 20 m? per pin and the socket connects all pins with 6.5-GHz bandwidth on all connections. Other features include a low inductance elastomer contactor, an operating temperature range from -35°C to +100°C, a pin self inductance of 0.11 nH, mutual inductance of 0.028 nH, capacitance to ground of 0.028 pF, and a current capacity of 2A per pin.
