Formulated for the data storage industry, Clean Compound Systems (CCS) series composites meet the cleanliness, or low contaminant material requirements, for products such as disk drives. With faster speeds and lower flying heads, the ionic contamination effects must be reduced to increase life for these products. CCS Series composites are low ion content versions of the firm's standard compounds. The ultra-clean characteristics are achieved by combining low ion content raw materials with low ion producing manufacturing methods.
