Pluggable terminal blocks that facilitate rapid system testing, shorter maintenance downtime and simplify construction when shipping splits are required are a key feature of firm's new pluggable ribbon cable connector interface module, as is the addition of six component holes per circuit. The plated through holes allow users to easily modify modules, it's claimed, by adding electronic components. Mounting is either on a DIN rail or directly on a panel. The devices accept industry-standard ribbon cable connectors in size from 10 to 64 positions.
