Designed for internal wiring of digital televisions (DTVs), the FI-E series connector provides the electrical and mechanical features necessary to support transmission of LVD signals. Specifying a life span of 20 cycles, the connector includes a blind mating guide plus a locking mechanism to prevent unwanted unmating, and the receptacle has multiple soldering points. It is available in 14 and 30 positions with crimp and solder terminations for the harness and will work with twisted pair and fine coax cable. Other features include a height of 3.2 mm, 1-mm pitch, current and voltage ratings of 1A and 200V per terminal, respectively, contact resistance of 40 m?, minimum insulation resistance of 100 M?, dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VacRMS for one minute, and an operating temperature from –40°C to +80°C.
