Allowing almost any device to be implemented as a component of a DeviceNet system, the Model GWDN0000 gateway converts proprietary DeviceNet Protocol to Open Protocol in either ModBus ASCII or Modbus RTU formats. Up to 32 devices can be connected to the module via the RS-422/485 port using either two- or four-wire modes, making it very economical to interface a multitude of devices into the DeviceNet system. LEDs indicate status for TXD, RXD and DeviceNet making troubleshooting simple; a DIP switch allows easy field configuration of DeviceNet MACid and baud rate. The unit mounts on T or G styles of DIN rails.
