The Model 900 dispenser is claimed to make simple the application of controlled amounts of adhesives, encapsulants, and RTVs used in electronics assembly processes. Typical applications include cushioning parts with silicone, tacking wires, potting and encapsulating. Fluid is supplied from a disposable barrel that the operator holds like a pen. To make a dot, controlled bead, or cover a component, the operator places the dispensing tip in position and presses an electric foot pedal.
