Molex will showcase the latest products in its expanded EXTreme Ten60Power connector portfolio at DesignCon 2015 (booth #619). The product family now includes wire-to-board and panel-to-board power-only and hybrid power-and-signal options, providing up to 55 A per contact of current. As a result, engineers in the data-computing, telecommunications, and networking fields will be able to meet a wider range of harnessed power and signal requirements with higher current densities and reduced power loss.

The wire-to-board and panel-to-board plug and harness solutions range from two to six power circuits with 0, 12, 18, and 24 signal circuits. They’re rated resistant in hot-pluggable applications to help prevent electrical interruptions. They also feature last-mate/first-break (LMFB) and first-mate/last-break (FMLB) capabilities to further increase flexibility. The wire-to-board options come in right-angle and vertical PCB plug mating and the panel-to-board options mate a panel-mount receptacle harness to a standard right-angle header.
