Expanding the company's line of filtered Combo D-Subminiature connectors are components poised for use in a variety of applications, particularly 48-Vdc power entry for telecommunication systems such as base stations, switching and transmission equipment. A more economical version employing 100-nF chip capacitors is also available for filtering in the lower kiloHertz range. Each connector in the line interfaces with most commercially available unfiltered connectors. The latest components are rated at 40A/200 Vdc and feature potting that protects the ceramic elements and provides a test voltage capability up to 707 Vdc. Available in standard sizes such as 3W3, 5W5, 9W4, and 24W7, custom designs incorporating mixed filter values and coaxial inserts are available. SPECTRUM CONTROL INC., Fairview, PA. (814) 474-0392
