While occupying a footprint no bigger than a 0805-size chip capacitor, the FJ-0805 Series of surface-mountable flat jumpers can handle current levels as high as 5A. And while they do not incorporate stand-offs, these ultra-low-profile flat wireforms offer sufficient clearance to eliminate the need for insulation.Said to provide a far more efficient jumper device than that offered by zero-ohm resistors, the FJ-0805 SMT jumpers are formed using flat, 0.015'' copper wire with a 0.0001'' 90/10 tin/lead over 0.0001'' copper finish. The jumpers measure just 0.050'' x 0.080'' and are supplied on tape-and-reels. For samples and pricing, contact COMPONENTS CORP., Denville, NJ. (866) 426-6726.
