A family of HDMI mini-connectors, the KMDMIX series, supports deep color over HDMI, DVD audio, and other features of the HDMI implementation in a smaller form factor than traditional HDMI connectors. The series offers a standard through-hole 19-pin receptacle that can carry up to 10.2 Gb/s of uncompressed audio and video. The connector features a high-temperature, thermoplastic UL94V-0-rated black housing. The contacts are phosphor bronze and the shield is nickel plated. Insulation resistance is a minimum of 100 MOhms and the dielectric withstanding voltage is 500 Vac RMS minimum. The connector is rated for operation from –25°C to +85°.
