Groomed for the high-speed AdvancedTCA (ATCA) market, the AMC.0 B+ connectors support PIGMG ATCA specifications for next-generation mezzanine cards and suit a wide range of applications in telecommunications, computing, and IEEE 1386 arenas, as well as non-ATCA applications. The 170-circuit connectors handle data rates up to 12.5 Gb/s and feature impedance control and a crosstalk of less than 3% at 12.5 Gb/s. An enhanced footprint manages inter-pair affinity and integrates additional ground vias for isolation. Other features include an insert-molded wafer press-fit design that requires very simple tooling and abets easy connector-to-PCB mounting. Meeting RoHS requirements, the connectors are available in three versions: standard, peg-less, and extended height. MOLEX INC., Lisle, IL. (800) 786-6539.
