The Remote Interface Communication System (RICOS) advanced interface system for fieldbus is expanded by four new products. The expansion includes the CANopen-compatible buscoupler, CANopen-compatible compact version, PT-100 RTD module and counter module with features such as spring clamp wire terminations, reduced setup, labor and maintenance time, complete field serviceability, low cost per I/O point and high density up to 256 I/O points. RICOS comes with its own diagnostics system and panel mounting option. The panel mounting lets RICOS be used in confined spaces.
