Described as being very flexible for a wide range of applications, the DIN-rail mount Flexible Interface Modules (FIMs) house several D-Sub and/or flat-cable connectors in a single module, with or without terminals. A mix of different connector types and genders may be deployed on the module. Available connector types include D-Subs with nine to 37 poles, 10- to 26-pole flat-cable connectors, and high-density D-Subs with 15 poles.
