Model 9180 Kevlar shears feature a proprietary grinding geometry and a serrated edge on one blade to ensure a uniform cut. And cushioned rubber grips on the handles are claimed to make the cutter comfortable to hold, regardless of the size of the user's hand.
Designed especially to cut through Kevlar, the shears are said to be ideally suited for preparing fiber-optic cable. They can also be employed to cut other cable insulations as well. Model 9180 shears are priced at $21.75.
