Reported as a stable and convenient means to test Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) and Small Form Factor (SFF) devices, the new LC Loopback assembly provides a durable thumb latch and contoured grip for easy assembly and removal. To prevent damage to the fiber, the assembly features a protected fiber loop and is available in singlemode, multimode 50/125 µm, and multimode 6.25/125 µm fiber sizes. Attenuated singlemode versions are also available for use with higher power transceivers to eliminate detector saturation or simulate a longer fiber path for network testing. Pricing for a multi-mode fiber version is $22.61 each/100. MOLEX INC., Lisle, IL. (630) 969-4550.
