Patent pending, the company’s passive equalizer fits into size 8 Twinax or Quadrax contacts, requires no power, and acts as a high pass filter. This approach compensates for frequency-dependant cable losses and helps reopen the eye pattern on long cable runs. The technology is for use with greater than 2-Gb/s, 100? differential interconnects.  Its unique design helps to offset high frequency losses as well as reduce inter-symbol interference and deterministic jitter.  Additionally, due to the nature of the equalizer, it can be placed anywhere in the transmission path that is convenient.
