The Proximity Block is a terminal block that provides a common bridge for positive, negative and signal connections. Available as a top-entry (5 mm width) or side-entry (6 mm width) system and fully configurable to PNP or NPN sensors, the blocks take less space and are said to cost less than using multiple feedthrough blocks. They're suitable for users of three-wire or four-wire proximity switches, photoelectric switches, or other field devices. Combining the three types of connections in one block eliminates the use of multiple blocks.Units are available with an LED indicator between signal and positive or signal and negative connections, allowing for visual indication at the wiring panel.
