Rugged Spring Pins Carry 9A Easy

March 9, 2011
The 085X (0850, 0851, 0852, and 0853) series rugged spring pins are capable of carrying 9A of continuous current at a 10°C temperature rise.

The 085X (0850, 0851, 0852, and 0853) series rugged spring pins are capable of carrying 9A of continuous current at a 10°C temperature rise.  Characterized by a greater mass and surface area, the components provide a lower resistance electrical path than miniature spring pins. Other features include a gold-plated stainless steel spring, 0.05-in. diameter solid plunger, a thick-wall construction, 0.045-in. mid-stroke and a 0.09-in. maximum stroke, and a lifespan of 1,000,000 cycles minimum.
